I have a DK2020 and have already programmed the voicemail phone number into a speed dial #, but what I need to know is how do I get the system to light up an LED when there is a msg at that number? Or do I need an internal VM to do that?

Your voicemail is provided by the CO provider? If so you message notification is usually done with broken dial tone. A Stratagy voicemail made by Toshiba installed on your system would give you mailboxes for all ext's and would light your msg light for notification.

Oh, right now it's provided by some other company and I have to dial a telephone number to get my messages. There's no broken dial tone or anyuthing to notify me of messages, I just thought there might be a way for the phone to notify me.

One last question, when my phone is on "Do Not Disturb" it still rings, though at a much lower volume. Is there any way to stop this through programming?

I am going to suggest that you get in touch with one of the Toshiba moderators and pay them to help you over the telephone. I do not mean to be rude in any way, but from your previous posts, it is apparent that know very little about your phone system. Toshiba programming can be complicated. Also, the DKT 2020 is the type of telephone that you have. You will need to know what system it is before you call. The model of KSU is on a silver tag on the central phone system box. It is probably a a white plastic box mounted on a wall somewhere.
