I think it would be ok to show default passwords on forums. Just not BACKDOOR ones.
What do think?

hobart Not sure if you a tech,end user or business owner but lets look at your question. If you are a end user/business owner and one of your past (or present) employees were to post a request for a default password or any password and got it they could wipe out the system and/or voicemail. Thats why we take it off the board and verify you are who you say you are. ...looks like this path is well travelled. Any chance someone could email me the result of the user id password reset via mailbox 999 as well? All I remember from the course I took years ago on the Stratagy was I hope it isn't built like the Stratagy Box was and what a bizarre default password to arrive at. Haven't they heard of 4 zeros or nines or something?

Hello,
I've just taken over a DK424 system with an IVP8 installed. I can create users but do not know what the base password is.
Would it be possible for me to get an e-mail with the default password.
