My company uses old EKT6015 phones, and I have downloaded the only manuals I could find for them from a website mentioned on this site (i paid 39 bucks for the membership, and so far it has been well worth it) there are things that I cant figure out however. How do I program the buttons on these 10 key phones? I can't find this info anywhere.

I have Perception eX with a Stratagy 24 VM system. I have all the manuals now but still having trouble finding info about several things. #1) None of the phone buttons are labled and I have no idea how to reprogram them if necessary. #2) I still cannot forward directly to VM. I have learned a ton about the system - but still I can't get this to work. I have been told to transfer, dial the VM (400 on our system) then dial 998#EXT# but this basically just sends them right to the ext the same as if I had dialed just EXT#. Is there a token string I need to add to box 998 to make this work? thanks for your help.

I can help with the Stratagy but the EX Im no help on.
The Stratagy is a analog voicemail so you need to wait for the 998 to answer so you can transfer the # tells the Stratagy that you are done dialing but pause for a sec, the prompt will be: enter the destination user ID finish by pressing pound, then dial the ext. If noone a screwed with the mailbox it will transfer.

You will need to program the Perception with a laptop using Procomm or similar software. The install manual will get you to this point. The programming manual will tell you what mneumonics to type at the command line to list the keys on the EKT sets.

Thanks for the help. My problem has been solved and it was in the Stratagy Configuration. The option for box_snd was set to a user ID of 8. It has been this way since day 1 apparently (5 years they have not been able to do this). I set it back to 998 and lo and behold, we can now forward direct to VM.
