I got a call from a customer that has a CTX 100 with an IVP8 2 port voice mail. They have 4 CO lines. The customer is a theatre. When a show opens and tickets go on sale they get a lot of calls and would like calls answered by voice mail or auto attendent, they want the calls put in a holding que and answered in the order that they were recieved. How it is set up now is voice mail answered the calls and is given a list of options when the caller chooses the option to purchase tickets the call is transfered to a phantom on the two box office telehones. It is a blind transfer because with only 2 ports and 4 CO lines the third caller would get RNA. To have the calls recall back to voice mail that would create a closed loop and I was told that was a bad thing. Do you have any ideas to help me out Thanks in advance

You could put 4 phdn's in hunt using prog 33.Assign the phdn/s to the phones with ring in prog *71 and set ring transfer recall to 90 seconds or so . Leave the blind transfer as it is. Callers(up to 4) would ring till answered or they would hang up and next caller would come in. Another is to add an acd RYKS2 chip and create an acd group.Hope it helps
