I've added a new phone to the DK16e and my display shows Sent 57V above the time and date, instead of what I programmed in (No. 29). Is there any way to get rid of this?

Thanks!

I hate it when this happens and there is more then likely a easier way to do this but is how I have fix it. In program 04 make a ext 57 then go to the phone that has the sent 57v and dial 57 77 it will clear msg and go back to 04 and put the ext back to what it was.

If I'm reading you right, it Sounds like the msg lite on 57 should be flashing. Push the lite, it should ring to 29, go to 29 and take the handset offhook. This should clear the msg lite on 57 and clear the display on 29.

Thanks for the help guys, but I still haven't gotten it. Lets see if I got your instructions right. Currently there is no EXT 57. One phone which is Ext 29 is displaying Sent 57V above the date/time. I've programmed another phone's extension to 57 temporarily, and tried phonemeister's instructions. The phones have connected, after which I lifted handsets and my message didn't clear. If I switch modes from mode 60/61, it temporarily displays my Ext 29, but then goes back to the SENT 57V. I've also tried setting an extension to 57 and trying ssphone's instructions, but to no avail. This is only a minor annoyance as it is my phone that is displaying this, but it is annoying me that I cannot fix it. If I've gotten some instructions wrong, please let me know!

Thanks again

OK you made a phone ext 57 with program 04.
And you can call it from another phone. Try it.
At that phone dial intercom#409.
This will clear all MSG waiting.

You can try dialing 5777 or 5799.
