I'm a little baffled by a system I have that doesn't sound the intercom ring tone when the reception station is dialed internally. I can hear the call ringing from the calling extension, and the call can be answered at reception if the flashing intercom light is noticed. I can also press 1 to switch to a Voice Call which seems to work OK. Intercom calls work to all the other phones just fine. What am I missing? COS?

Check program *71 and make sure that the corresponding led is on for her port number.

Thanks for the replies - sorry for not stating the obvious (I meant to). The phones are DKT 20 button and yes, I tried switching phones around. Different phone does the same thing and problem set rings fine at different location. I will check program *71 - what does it do? (I don't have a manual in front of me)

Prog *71 assigns audible ringing to primary and phantom dn's. I'm sure this is your problem. Just remember that led 1 corresponds to port 000 and led 2 to port 001 and so on.

Thanks PM - you were exactly right. Amazing what you can miss when scanning through a manual.

I am having this same issue right now. The phones that do not ring are ports 042, 048, 055. how do you assign a led in *71 to a port that high. Right now I have just selected led1 because that is programmed to the PHDN that they use for our ACD. I have tried program *31 with no luck, prog *72 and *73 are empty for those ports as well. My phones are DKT2020 phones
DK424I, DKT2020-SD phones. Insight DK acd software

Grant, The soft keys under the display will advance you thru the port numbers in blocks of 20
Please start a new topic instead of dredging up a 4-1/2 year old post.
Thanks
