Are the DK8 KSU and the new DKT3000 series phones compatible?
Thanks, Matt

Yes you can use the new 3000 series phones on the DK8. You just don't have some of the new features that the phone was designed for. The biggest thing is the display. It will only be 16 characters on the 3000 phone.

I think he meant 8 characters for the display if used on the DK.

2000 series LCD's were 16 char. 2 line, 3000 is 24 char. 2 line. If you plug a 3000 into a DK, it will act like a 2000.

You're right, junkman. I was thinking of 8 characters for the name display on the DK.
