Today, I was doing some Button Programming (Program 39)on a 424i 1 cabinet with a Strategy 4 port VM card- 2020sd phones...and decided to program all of the phones the same for continuity's sake and did a range of phones when I reprogrammed. I got a call when I got back to the office from the customer, saying that they could no longer access their VM boxes. I'm assumming what I did, was to reprogram "flexible buttons" on the VM ports (024, 025, 026, 027). The phones range from 000 to 023 then skip to 032 to 039. I forgot. What can I do to undo this. Can I go to Program 39 and just blank out those 20 keys on those VM ports that I inadvertantly programmed?? How do I blank out those keys? Or is something else the problem. Was some other program affected?? What should I do first?? To access the VM box the customer hits the MSG key then 51*. I'm going there tomorrow to see what the deal is. Any ideas?

Maybe I just figured it out myself. One of the buttons that I replaced was the Speed Dial (497). I think that you need that to make the "*" and "#" work. No??? Yes???

Well, after getting a call from customer saying that they can't call forward their main line to the answering service--(*72)--I knew for sure what it was. I high-tailed it there and put the SD button back where it was on everyone's phone. Ya Know, I knew that 10 years ago, but for some reason it just left my brain. I won't forget THAT piece of Toshiba trivia again.
