We are currently running a Strata DK280 R# system with 6 CO lines. There is also a Stratagy Voice Mail system attached.

Is there a way to configure the system so call activity, not just voice mail, can be logged. Of special interest are the number of calls per line, the duration of the calls, and hopefully, a way to determine how often and for how long all lines are "busy"?

Yes, Is there an RSIU card in the cabinet? It would be in slot #11. If not, you will need a PIOU or PIOUS card. Then you will have a port that dumps SMDR data to a PC or printer. With a PC you can install a Call Accounting package such as Ultimate Call Accounting tht will provide you with traffic studies and custom traffic reports.

BTW, SMDR is System Message Detail Recording.

Now available Voicemail Programmer Kit to program your Toshiba Voice Mail across your network.

Thank you. That was the info I needed. It would appear that I do not any of the required cards, so now comes the budget issues!
