Stupid question, but were you pressing 6 numbers between the 652 and the #? It is definately required to enter both hour digits - i.e. 08 for 8 o'clock, and I believe the seconds digits are required as well although I usually enter 00. If you are pressing all 6, there must still be some interaction between the # and redial functions.

Strata DK96 does sound right, but because of the number of lines and extensions it supports can lead to a major headache if a newbie fouls up the programming.

If you look hard enough you should still be able to find the manuals for the DK96 downloadable for a nominal charge, but even after reading and fully understanding them,I would still not reccomend making any changes to a working system without some form of hand-holding with a tech support person.

There is a link at the top of this page for Manuals, another source that just popped into my head is telemanuals.com

Thanks for your continued help.

I am definitely using 6 digits to define the time and/or date. Like I said before, it seems like the system is looking for some type of confirmation for the entry just made.

I will try to find a manual to see if that helps. Meanwhile if anyone else has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.

Have you tried the # key after entering the time?

I'm stumped - I just cobbled together an old DK24 and EKT6520-SD in my basement which should be "close enough" to your system. Regardless of whether or not a "Redial" button has been programmed on the flex buttons, the "#" button still functions to accept the time change.
It sounds like you are doing everthing right, but just to verify-
after [int]652 the display should read "652 ENTER TIME"
as you press the 6 digits, they shoud scroll in from the right displaying "NTER TIME 210700"
at this point pressing the "#" key under the "9" key should change the display to "DATA PROGRAMMED"
There should not be too much time between the 652 and the time, I got stuck at one poit while writing this where the display still showed "652 ENTER TIME", but the digits were not accepted/displayed, but for the most part as soon as the prompt appeared I entered HHMM00# in one fluid sequence without any problems, and it does require all 6 digits.
(It took me a while to realize that Ingenius was telling you to use the 4th down on the right of the keypad, to verify that you were pressing "#" and not "*")
Do your buttons beep when pressed? Is it possible the the "#" key on that phone is bad - can you swap out another phone? If you don't mind typing blind, you can actually set the time with a 10 button non-display set.

Thanks again for your continued help.

I did try again making sure I pressed each key firmly and they do make a beep when they are pressed. The entry goes along just as you say until I get to the # key. The key beeps acknowleding it has been pressed, but it does nothing to the display. And I am sure that you know that if you wait 15-20 seconds or so the display goes back to the main menu.

I am not able to get that "DATA PROGRAMMED" message.
