My company has a toshiba DK424 telephone system connected to a repartee voicemail system. The phones are a DKT2010-SD model. The problem is that on some extensions, when you call them, they are not getting through to voicemail. What will happen is that an extension will be dialed and the phone will ring but if no one picks up the system does not direct the caller to the person's voicemail. Instead a voice will come on and say that "I'll sorry but I didn't hear your selection please dial it again". Even through the person has his voicemail set up. This occurs only on some extensions. Is there any way to reprogram the phone to forward calls to voicemail after a certain number of rings? Any help on this will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Sounds like the follow-on vm id codes are not right. Go to one of the affected phones:
1. Press the PDN button or the intercom button
2. Dial #656 plus the extension number of that phone
3. Press the REDIAL button
4. Hang up
Test it. If you hear "Please hold on while I try that extension..." then in step 2 add a 1 after entering the extension number.

Thanks for your reply, I try that earlier today only with #656 91extension number then redial but it didn't work. I try it with dn #656 extension, redial but it says please hold on while I try that extension. I then did it with #656 1212(example) but all it came up with was a list of peoples last name that match the extension number. Is there any other way to program the extension back to voicemail or create a new extension in place of the old one if that will work out better. Thanks for any help you can give me on this.

It should be #656 + extension number + 1 + REDIAL. So for extension 212 it would be #6562121+REDIAL.

It depends on what voicemail system you have.
