We have a 16e with auto-attendant. The problem is I am trying to "dumb down" the system and cannot remove this feature. I am pretty sure this is a hardware issue, since I have tried to ring assign, etc. Toshiba is kind of new to me. My background is Partner and Rolm, basically.

Yes, it is a Toshiba system. We were using a stratagy system. I just want to disable the attendant. We are only going to use this for co line distribution to users.

Check program *40 to see if you are using a distributed hunt group for the voice mail ports. If yes then reference port number 900 in program 81 for ringing.

let me know..............

I tried *40 and could not get any entries but the ## to back out to work. I tried to use 900 first, and then tried to start with all the other integers with no luck. When I go into 40, and hit #, buttons 1-8 light up when I select port 900, 901, etc.
