I have a CTX670 and a Stratagy IES32. The voicemail has rebooted at least 3 times today and will not come up properly. This is my second unit. Any idea?

Make a backup as soon as possible. Looks like this one might go south as well.

Thanks, We do back it up daily since the first one died on us. Any thoughts on why this keeps happening?

Thanks. I'm glad that there are areas where people can exchange information.

Toshiba is now shipping an updated ies32 that is supposed to address this problem. We now insist that there's proper ventilation and temperature control in the room where the ies is installed. Sometimes that means installing the switch in someone's office.

Thanks for the heads up on the new version. I'm going to insist on getting this. Our switch is in our LAN Room. The temp in there is a constant 65 degrees and plenty of ventilation.

also make sure you have good air flow thru the switch. Toshiba had put out a tech bulletin last year because these things were over heating. Some have gone as far as putting fans in the switch to help cool the server.

Toshiba has replaced out iES with ES32. No I have extensions where MW indicator flashes and can not turn it off. I have tried #409, but that is not working. These same extension the MSG button won't work either on new messages. Anyone know what I can try?

If you still have it, put the old one back in, programmed with the same ext. #'s and in the same slot, then have everyone clear their mwl. Haven't tried it but it should work.
Otherwise, (insert much swearing here) delete & rebuild every affected extension in the CTX.
I had the same problem, but the iES had already been shipped off. (swearing deleted)
