Not sure about the phone express but the Toshiba exts may need to be identified to the voicemail. This code for the Toshiba Stratagy voicemail is
intercom #656 91 XXX
and also
intercom #657 91 XXX
XXX= extension number (ie 200,201)

AVT 656 * XXX, 657 # XXX
If I remember right, could always call D.A.D. and ask they will usually tell you, just tell them one of your phones lost its VM ID

OK Here is what I have. The voicemail is AVT PhoneXpress. Originally the DID line 001 was ringint to voicemail and playing AA greeting. The 8 in program 71-4 was telling the voicemail when it answered to play digit 8 which was another AA prompt. I took that out. and redirected DID to ring DN 205 or port 051 which has the DN of 205. The phone forward to vm which now says please hold and sends the call to the proper voicemail box. I have 71-1 and 71-3 set to ring this port. I am not using *09 in any way. I had originally put #656#205 redial. Then I tried your settings with no change. Vm starts at port 400 which is what I am telling it to forward to before the 205. I either need to put a digit in 71-4 or a string of digits or I need to put a different code in the #656 sequence. Also I noticed the phone when I put a display on it said (as it had a message) to call {205-8500VM} Should I be putting in some group # instead of 400 which is the first voicemail port?

why dont you call the v/m manufacturer and try to get the integration notes for your v/m to the toshiba
there are many programs in the tosh when you use a standalone mail and if one program is off
there are usually problems somewhere
or maybe some on here has the notes and can email them

First I would change the Cfwd to 8500 which is most likely the Dist. Hunt Group of Voicemail. I would either call, or better yet have the customer call, the local Toshiba dealer and explain that one of the phone lost the VM id's and ask them what they used. Then reset the 656/657 codes
BTW D.A.D. used the digit "8" many times for a quick digit transfer...meaning that a station number after the "8" would transfer directly to the VMbx greeting and NOT to the station to follow Cfwd.
Hopes this helps
