The record sheets are just what the name implies ..for records and as a guide to program what you want. I worked on most of Toshiba's but the '16'..but I believe the programmings the same/similar.. use program 81 to assign ringing..ext 10=port 01 ext 11= port 02 etc. and program 39 for button assignment and prog 40 for line assignment. I'm assuming you just need some basic programming done..Those should get you going.

Extension 10 is port number 00, 11 is 01 and so on. Under default station 10 is the only extension to ring.

Hi Again guys! Anyone know Dan's Phone number or e-mail at Voyager?

In the mean time, I can enter the Program Mode on my Toshiba DK16 - I want to do program 81... but after I enter the Logical port.... I don't get further options. (I'm trying to make all the other phone ring). Thanks!!!! Wendy

After entering the port number press the # key. You can also enter 00*07 to program the 1st 8 phones that work out of the main cabinet.

HEY GUYS!!!!! Guess what! After trying program 81 over... and ...over.... and feeling blonde (which, um I am - but don't normally feel like!!!), A sympathetic Toshiba guru told me since my system is older, I probably have 3 digit port #'s.... 001,002, etc.... and VOILA!!!!!! Now all programming is much easier! Thanks for all the feedback!

Yep, the 16 used 2 digits, the 16e uses 3. You are also going to want to make certain that you have the program/install manual for the 16e or a 40 as some programming is slightly different. The 16e is much more similar to the 40 that it is to the old 16.
