Can't I hook up my laptop up via com port and test is smdi is coming out of my ctx?
Ushing hyperterminal ? And if so what is the default comm settings coming out of the bsis ?

Ok I found program 804 so im checking the settings on the VM server and the CTX.

Would still like to know if i can test via my laptop and confirm that smdi is being sent.

Yes, Make sure Hyperterminal's com settings are the same as the CTX. You've got a good shot of seeing some type of data even while you're dialing in your laptop's com port settings while you're connected.
