Hi,
Just wandered what the correct or best way is for receptionists to transfer calls through to users voice mailboxes. I guess they can transfer the call through to the extension and then it will ring until it bounces to voicemail depending on whether call forward is setup. I understand that there is another way for Receptionists to transfer calls directly to the mailbox for that extension ?

Go into Stratagy Admin programming using your laptop and goto Mailbox 998 and copy it to mailbox 6. once this is done you can have the receptionist tell the customer one moment, hit transfer button or a voicemail button dialing the DHg and dial 6, wait until she hears the mailbox 6 say enter the mailbox number and dial the mailbox number and hangup. You can even put everything on a speedial button.
