Hello, all, I'm really hoping someone here can help as our local toshiba people won't. First, what I have: dk280, rctub1 w/rrcs4, peku's for company phones, rstu to hook up the analog ports on Amanda. I have run program 92 to initialize vm id codes, program 03 for the rstu and rctub1 w/rrcs4, program 10-1 led's 7-9and 18-20 lit, program 10-2 w/ led's 2,4,6,11,14-16 lit, program 10-3 w/ led's 9-12 and 14 lit, program 31 w/ led's 5,9 and 15-18 lit for vm ports, and program 35 w/ led 20 lit for vm ports. My question is does anybody know what led's should be lit in 10-3 for Amanda Soho, or if anybody sees something wrong with what I am doing? The company that sold us the amanda won't come out or return calls, and our local toshiba rep won't touch it. Help! Please!

We used to have an old amanda hooked up to our old system, were not useing that for years now....
Anyway, as far as I can remember LED's 11 13 and 20 have to be on in program 10-3, but I'm not sure.

Program 10-3 should not be a factor in your voice mail since it deals with smdi and the Release 1 processor did not support smdi. You sound like you have problems but you don't state what they are.

Thanks for such quick responses. I'll try those tomorrow. Breed, you're the first person I've been in contact with that differientiated between the versions, I missed the smdi issue. The problem I'm having is that I can't seem to integrate the systems. It may be as simple as me not logging on to amanda correctly. I've been trying to log on to amanda by dialing the message center's intercom # or dialing the co line assigned to ring the message center through program 81 and get a busy signal. Against my advice, the owner of my company purchased the amanda from a vendor through ebay and given me the responsibility to install it. Our local toshiba rep won't touch it. The vendor who sold us amanda keeps giving me dk8 with single line cards instructions, which obviously are of no use to me. Tomorrow morning I will power down the ksu and the vm, remove and reseat all cards and sub-asseblies (rrcs4), power back up, double check program 03, and try again. If still not working, I'll try the suggestions everybody made. Any other suggestions would be more than welcome.

have you dialed the 2 or 4 ext that you assigned on the rstu directly and is the balance of the phones in the system working or are there other problems ?

The dk280 works great. We've been using it for roughly 9 months with no problems, and any programming needs have been quick and easy. I tried dialing amanda from another station (int 216) if that's what you mean, and tried calling from an outside line to the co I assigned to vm through prog. 81, but still busy signal. I powered down the units and reseated all cards, didn't help. Then I made the changes to prog's 10-2 and 31, still not working. I am going to thoroughly check all wiring, then try an analog phone to see if I have an issue w/rstu.

check 03 again for cards and placement if you have reassigning make sure you cycle system off/on i guess you are putting cv or but set on output of rstu to see if the phone rings
in 35 i have no entries for mail ports

Unplug the telephone connections to the amanda and then dial the ext and see if you get a ring instead of the busy. If you get a ring then there is a problem with the amanda if you get a busy you have progamming issues with the 280

Your Boss is going to save a bundle on this one!! Yes it's so easy to set up a voice mail with Toshiba, anyone that can read can do it. I always have my Plumber Install and program the ones I sell. That way callers always can find the toilet via AA. Yadda Yadda Yadda.
