Did I get enough in the title ![[Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]](https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/smile.gif) ? Just installed a CTX28 with WinAdmin's newest release. I have 2 3010sd each with 1 DADM 20 button add on. I went in and enabled 1 add on module for each extension and the extra buttons are available for programming. I added 18 DSS buttons to show the other 16 phones in the office. Now the problem. THEY DONT DO ANYTHING ![[Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]](https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/frown.gif) WinAdmin doesnt error out or suggest that there are ANY problems. Did I miss a toggle on the DADM motherboard? Jumper? Is it a planet alignment issue? Ray

Do you get any indication that there is power to the ADM's (ie: lights or beeping)? Double check your ribbon cable connections, make sure its plugged into the right one in the phone. There are no jumber settings required. ------------------ Toshiba Technical Support at: fingerlakestelecom.net

I was pretty sure that the ribbons can only be plugged into one jack on either end? no?
Would be nice if a simple peice of paper came in the box saying how to plug that stupid flat cord in.
Also, is it just me? or does everyone get these DADM's with the warranty sticker over one of the screws. And you HAVE to rip through it to open it up and install the flat cord? Doesnt this seem dumb?

The cable has different connectors on each end, make sure you plug it into the correct connector in the phone, on the 3000 series it's labeled PCI/ADM. The other connector in the DADM is to chain to a second DADM.
Also, make sure you're using a matching DADM, the 2000 series DADM will not work on the 3000 series phones.

FYI...If you have a warranty sticker on the screw, then it is a used, refirbed unit. They do not come from the factory like that. ------------------ Toshiba Technical Support at: fingerlakestelecom.net
