anyone ever used the alarm button option in 39
what does it do? close a relay? provide a system alarm tone?

All it dcoes is send an alert tone to the other phone.
ie: When the boss is on the phone the sec. can alert him with an audible tone.
We learned how to set it up in Toshiba school, but have never had a request for it.
