Bribe the field tech from your service provider.
In the interim call your personal cell phone from the questionable line.

Or use the toll-free MCI number, which I am not allowed to tell you here, but since 50 million people already know it, it shouldn't be hard to figure out.

So the techs that needed them couldn't get them. As I've told you before there is nothing keeping you from PMing or emailing a fellow tech. As grider said you can call your cell or a friend with CID so there is no reason the average Joe needs these numbers. The leaders of this board have put rules in place for a reason and they were discussed before being implemented. If you don't like the rules don't play the game.

nextlevel, and thanks for understanding. JordonJ is a moderator and is from Michigan, farther north than you. If you're a tech you may want to contact him to see if he has any of the local numbers.

Ive have a few in my speed dial but honestly cell phone is usually the easiest and its what I use the most .
the main reason I use the local LEC number is to determine quickly at a new site whether the line is LEC or CLEC

In Britain we now have a single service code which works right across the whole country on all BT landlines.
