Has anyone used and will comment on the quality of the Tempo brand test sets?
Thanks in advance!

Fair, but not preferable to Harris/Fluke. The buttons require more deliberate pushing--you can't dial them with one hand nearly as fast as the flatter Harris TS set buttons. Plus--and this is the most annoying feature--there is a slight delay before you hear dialtone when you touch the clips to a working pair. If you have to go down a 66 block testing DT, it's going to take forever. I also don't care for the on-hook/off-hook buttons. They also take too much time. After about a year, I replaced mine with a Fluke TS22A, good old reliable.

not a big fan, I carry one as a backup to my
ts-22. It will do the job in a pinch, but I would stick with fluke/harris.

I was given a Premier butt set...it is pretty basic, but it does what I need. I'd much prefer a TS22 but they aren't cheap!

Jeff--

I just bought mine on eBay a few weeks ago. Brand new, in box, with battery, about $150. I even saw one sold earlier by the same seller for less than $80. I don't know where the seller picked these up, but if he let them go that cheap, he must be stealing them from Fluke's warehouse.

i have a little buttie as well as a ts-22 the little buttie while not very rugged has a great feature, its able to display the number dialed on outgoing calls. Saved me a few times trying to figure out the numbers that a messed up auto dialer was dialing

our ts 22a2 is great, but, the fluke ts44 has been great when we go on calls for dsl when the "national" company has sent us out to make sure the local telco had installed their dsl line, saving us many trips to insure them that the local telco has not brought it into the building.
