I got a used TS22 but lack of the 9V battery Can anybody tell me what's the battery's spec?
It's a regular 9V battery? or a rechargeable 9V battery? Which brand name or spec is perfect to be the one I need to purchased?
Thanks for your reply!!

There is a guy in Indiana that refurbs buttsets for a very resonable fee. I sent my TS22 in a few years back for a non-working speaker, and it came back repaired and looking like new. Fast turn-around too. I will try to dig up his number and post it on the board.

Thanks for you guys reply. I did try a regular 9V battery. but the TS22 seems can't remember any telephone number.
When I storage any numbers and try to redial from the storaged numbers, it work.
Once I unplug the bed-of-nail from punch box and put it back again. Those numbers are gone.
Does anybody have the same problem as me?

There is lithium battery soldered in place inside the TS22 to backup the memory. If you let the 9v battery go dead, the lithium battery will follow..
With a bit of careful surgery, you can use a common computer backup battery (I think it was a cr3502?) as a replacement.. You may have to salvage the solder tabs from the old battery if you can't find the correct replacement with tabs.
There is a water resistant coating over the circuit board that you have to scrape off to unsolder the battery.. you want to give some thought to replacement coatings..
