Do any of you guru's have a SIMPLE line by line setup for LCR on a 'Shiba CTX/CTI 100?
Sales person sold a 100 to a customer w/ multiple tenants and I want to be able to make tenant1 have access to only their lines, tenant2 have access to only their lines.... while ONLY having to dial a single "9" from any station. I've had tech support help me out on this in the past but just can't remember ALL the steps required.I know that I have to set up individual line groups for each set of lines, allow something in COS, and change line group access in station programming but that is about as much as I can remember. We've had a falling out with Toshiba (something about not meeting our sales goal) and I'm not gonna pay for a "tech support token" at 200.00!! Thanks in advance....

Not meetng the sales goal...boy does that sound familiar!!!!!

LCR isn't one of my strong suits but it sounds like you are on the right track.

Have you looked at the Web Knowledge Base on FYI. There is a program guide to LCR there that shows step by step guide lines.

I could not find it when I tried to do the same thing. LCR is not my sstrong suite either, but I actually got that same scenario to work after a bit of work. It was actually easier then I thought.

Overview:

Make 2 OLGs.

Under Station assignsments, set LCR group to 1 or 2, depending on which OLG they are to use.

Set Route Choice Table, Route Definition, OLG number to 1

Do the same thing with all 2s

Set table in Route Plan 1, Station LCR group 1 with Route Choice Table 1 (make sure you do this for weekday, weekend, and holiday).

Do the same thing with Route Plan 1, LCR and Route choice table both at 2.

This should do it unless I missed a step somewhere.

Why would you do LCR when all you want to do is restrict access?

Could you not put all the lines in a dial 9 group and restrict outgoing line access to the A lines to group B and restrict outgoing line access to the B lines from group A.

The lines are going to ring at the phones designated to do so, not at the other companies phones? Why would there be a problem with incomming?

Am I missing something here?
