Been trying to get the programing off a 28 save it on my laptop and put it back into the same 28 after it is defaulted.
Here are the steps I have been taking what I'am doing wrong?
1.force format sm card
2.back-up data to card from switch
3.drop down to progdata
4.drop drown to progdata on local side
5.hi lite progdata
6.press download
7.remove card after unmount
8.insert blank sm card
9.force format
10. remove card and close out emanager
11. right click start,explore,emanager,userdata,administrator
12. locate correct file (progdata)
13. right click and copy to formatted sm card in e drive(progdata)
14. verify datas there and insert into switch
15 enter progaming via phone and do a all data clear and default program.
16 put the sm that was back up of switch do a all data clear and programing is back.
I would like to have other back-up on my hard drive just in case and know that the program will download.
