Check to see that you do not have any other notification set up.
I am guessing that it will notify a message waiting light OR an outside phone number OR a message pager OR a tone only pager OR a digital pager, but only ONE.
Go into the mailbox and listen for message notification choices, I think that is it, at least I hope it is.
If you go into notification type and your problem is solved, I expect a reply that says, Trust THE Bunnie." (grin)

Sorry I never came back and posted my results. JBW sent me a message: "contact dk, program 35 --- Led 19 must be lit for all telephones on the system." I actually found that prog 35, LED 19 was LIT for these 2 new ext's, but NOT LIT for all other stations on site. When I unselected LED 19, my problems were solved. JBW: You put me on the right track. Thanks!
This system was set up in a very non-std way by a local telecom tech before me. Not the 1st time I've run into goofy issues with it...
