We are trying to figure out why our system is performing slowly lately. We have done the basic maintenance and make sure all mailboxes have little or no messages. We also turned off the notify MsgLampOn & Off for phantom mailboxes. Could this be a hard drive issue?
Problem: almost all of our staff report having a long delay when they access their voicemail. For example, I enter my vm mailbox, takes forever to say "you have 1 new message.." then I hit 1 to listen to message and that takes at least 20 seconds before hearing the message, sometimes a lot longer. At the time of the example, there was only 3 of the 12 voice ports being used.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Check with Toshiba. There has been replacement hard drives for the IES32 for some time now.

I also just heard this week that if you do have an ieS32 with the "older" hard drive, they are doing a "swap out" for the newer ones. I don;t ahve all the details though. Check on FYI on the website

I am searching the www.toshiba.com web site, but unable to locate "FYI" or any replacement notifications. Do I have to be a dealer or developer to see this? Thanks again

Yes. This is where I strongly suggest having an authorized dealer step in. To me, it sounds like the hard drive about to crash.

Got our notice from Toshiba today, they will do an advance replacement on the hard drive if it is one of the older ones causing problems,
rhardy99 yes you have to be a dealer to see the info under FYI and I would agree with phonemeister get your dealer in to check things out. If it is running you can do a backup and change out the system quickly, if it crashes and you don't have a backup expect a fair amount of time to get your system back up and running
