We have a few phones that will not dial directly to voice mail when pressing the Msg button. I have instructions to set this.
Intercom, #, 657, *, Pause, [ext. number], Redial
I am not sure of the key sequence to program the pause. Any help is appreciated.

If the MSG light is not lit it won't go to voicemail...is the MSG light on or off?

Did you do #656 also.. along with #657
What kind of voicemail is it .. if it is a toshiba vm #656,91,ext#,redial.....#657,92,ext#,redial

The message light is on from an outside call leaving a voice mail. It is not the Toshiba voice mail. I have found documentation on using 91 and 92 but that has not worked. The voice mail system is Command Star 7.1. Hope this is enough information.

hmm.. going through the Command Star manual trying to find were the pause key sequence would be documented.

Thank you for telling us it was DK280. What release software in the DK280.
What is the voicemail, an external VM made by who??? or a voice mail that slides into the 280 as a circuit card. It would have a name on it somewhere.
