Quick tip:
When installing a fax (PRI or analog), turn off camp-on unless your fax machine supports it. If not, the 2nd incoming fax will not get an engaged tone.

Unless you have a brand new processor, with SW ver 4.1 MN017 or better, you won't see any settings to grab a CO line.
What many people have said that works, is to go to the Ringdown Tab under Station, Assignments, enable and enter 9 in as the emergengy ringdown destination. Then when they pick up the line, the 9 is automatically entered.
I have not tried this myself.

By default 9 is LCR. If you set 9 in the ringdown destination, the system will not return dial tone, but wait for more digits.
The better solution is the reassign a flexible access code to grab an OLG and use that. Most people use 8 because by default, 8 is Network access code and thats easily changed.

Good point. For a fax it may not matter as much if you here the second Dial Tone, but still people may think it is not working correctly..
