A 424i and CTX/CIX could look identical but 424 base cabinet has two far left slots for processor(s) and six slots for circuit cards, expansion cabinet of 424 would have eight slots for cards.

For ever and ever all you have had to do is have a display phone (only so you can see what is happening) at port 000, usually extension 200 and at that idle phone, press the bottom [intercom] button, dial # 6 5 2 and type in the time on a 24 hour clock for the first 4 digits and the seconds for the last 2 digits, press [redial] and [speaker].

NOTE: You can't dawdle with typing in numbers, it will time out on you. Know what time you are going to put in and do the steps promptly, not emergency fast but also not slow as a snail or it times out.

If that still does not work, then perhaps some genius or idiot changed program 05, flexible numbering.

Let us know if this works.

Still doesn't work.

Chances are 05 has been tinkered with. You said Flexible Numbering...we have changed the LED buttons around to give us access to our CO lines and other features (that no one uses hah!) but Of course I'm not sure how that would affect this situation if at all.

What other information can I provide that would help diagnose this issue?

You should be looking for port 000 to do your time change.

So hopefully you have all display sets and
do int/ #402 for port display.

When you get to 000 try your time change there.

A option would be to bring in a local Toshiba tech to clear up the mess in the system.

Above you said port 00 is x200 ,did you mean 000
is 200 ??

1. Can you look at your Toshiba cabinet and tell us what it says, what model it is?

2. Tell is what that is so we are not lost trying to help you.

Information is power.

I have three. The top is a DKSUB280A and the bottom two are DKSUE424A.

I have called our telephone vendor for support and we have somebody coming out sometime in the near future. I don't mind continuing this thread though.

Also, the physical port and logical port at x200 is 000 for both.

Sounds like your #6 has been changed - when I try #652 from my non-port-000 extenstion I press 4 buttons - # 6 5 2 and the display hangs with #652 and a busy signal, not #6 vacant.

In system programming, the installer can select the first digit for various sets of features

Normally #5 is used for call pickup, #6 for forwarding, displayed name and date/time, #7 for accessing CO lines, #8 for accessing CO groups.

Do you have any installer supplied or handwritten notes telling you to press #xxx and an extention number to send your calls to that phone (or to voicemail)? If that is not the standard #601, #602 etc. you could try the # and first digit of that code with the 52 to set the time.

As much as we try to help people with little things, this is one for calling in a tech. We could walk you through initializing the 05 program but that could wreak havoc with some change that was made to do something else.

If what jk suggests does not work (and it well could if a tech were nice enough to leave notes but few do) then an onsite visit is the only safe way. They can hook a laptop to the system if you have a PIOU or similar card or if there is space to add one and see what is going on.

All #s are vacant except for #4 and #3...when I do a #352 I get "EXTERNAL PAGINGA" and with #452 it is vacant with #45 showing on the display.

Well, I did all of that on my port, 005 and 000.

Still cannot change the system time.

I've been trying to get DKi Admin working on a laptop, but for some reason it failed on me a month ago, so I reinstalled and now it won't communicate with the phone system even though I haven't changed anything other than the OS. I've tried every communication setting it lists and it still will not connect. Irritating.

Anyway, we have a tech coming down on Wednesday to do all of this. We're using Stratagy for our voicemail and now the MSG LED does not blink when extensions have new voicemails. One more thing for the tech to fix!
