Is there a way to program the hook timer so it will allow you to join in a 3 way call on the same line? Is there a way to program a flash button? I have a speed dial button that I don't use that could be a flash button.

Thanks.

Yes you can program a flash button, and yes you can adjust the timing. If you take away your speed dial button , your # will not function correctly. ( flash code is 499 for the DK 40,424)

On a DK, you can perform a network flash by pressing CONF/TRN and dial #45 (#450 on a CTX/CIX) while on a call. That way, you can keep the speed dial button on the phone. But you might need to check program 12 on a DK for the flash timing.

OK--I tried the conf/trn #45 and was able to get to the other line on the 3 way, but how do I join them together again? The conf/trn button just switches between the two. I really need someone to walk me through the whole process. You will earn a star in heaven! Thanks.

Try CONF/TRN #45 again to join them. If that doesn't work then telco didn't provide 3-way calling to you. The DK does provide a 3-way conference calling using two trunks. The user guide explains how to perform a conference call.
