Hi Everyone.
We have a Stata DK280 system, 4 units installed in a column on the wall.
No power to each one.
Power source is good.
All fuses inside and out are good.
Each unit is plugged in to the power source independently, and that source is proven good. Yet all 4 units have no power...as if something is making all 4 units stop working (no lights fans...nothing).
Is there an "Easy Button" we don't know about?

Each cabinet should have an ON/OFF switch located on the right side of the cabinet. Make sure those are all on. Also make sure the jumpers that are installed near the ON/OFF switch are set properly for Base cabinet and Expansion cabinet. Did this system work properly say, last Friday?

Yes, system worked great. We had some weather over the weekend, power outage occured in the area. But if it were a lightning strike something would have blown...thepower strip or the fuses. All are good.

On the far right of the power supply there should be a loop on a white plug next to DDKSUB and DKSUE.

The base cabinet MUST have a loop and the expansion cabinets MUST NOT have a loop.

With everything else disconnected (ribbon cables on the left side) the top power supply must show power for the other cabinets to be able to switch on.

Have you disconnected the backplane power supply (multicolor cables) from the power supply and slid it out and then powered it up? Just two screws and you can test.

Bet you find the problem with these clues.

I assume you have pushed the circuit breakers that stand out like a lead pencil but thinner.

If only they had put a little sign that said "Push to reset."

One of the best Toshie people I know called me up and said he couldn't get a cabinet up and all the PDKUs I sold him had to be defective and he was unhappy to say the least.

I drove over there, saw the phones were plugged into a breakout block correctly, measured for -24 volts on the second pair and NOTHING. I pushed the three little circuit breakers and all the phones lit up with the time in the display.

I just shook my head and walked out. Don't feel bad, this has happened to most all of us at one time or another. Even me when I did a card change with the power off and it poped the breakers. I thought the T-1 had gone down, there were 150 phones on this and the general manager came out and asked, "You do know the phones are down?"

I was in a moderate state of panic for ten minutes and then I pushed the three circuit breakers in desperation. It all came back up. We know that if we power down, swap a card, it should come back up. This time it didn't. Pushing those three little breakers brought it up, you never forget that when there are 150 phones at your nicest customer waiting on you.

Having the same problem. We've pushed the three reset buttons on both power supplies. We removed the main power supply and all fuses test OK. Is this a bad power supply? Is it possible that both power supplies went out at the same time?
