Right, where do I start. A customer of ours is having a terrible time with their CTX100, every Tuesday at 2:34 am the emergency services, 999 in the UK, get a silent call from their main number. This has been happening for a few weeks now and we couldnt find a reason why these calls were occuring. The only analogue ports of the system are 224, 225 which are the voicemail ports.
Without a BSIS card to log calls, we didnt know where the calls were originating from but with the only analogue ports taken by the voicemail we disabled trunk access in class of service by disabling buttons 30+31. The problem was still there, i attended site but for the life of me i could not get access out or dial 999 from either port 224,225. No matter what hash codes or access codes i tried. We managed to source a BSIS card and installed it along with a pc to log the calls. Sure enough Tuesday just gone, 2 calls were logged at 224 + 225 at 2:34 am to 999. How on earth is this voicemail able to get access to 999 and i cant.
Ive checked program 550+551, the emegency access group is OLG 2 yet in 551 there is no data for Emergency network access code.
Im at the end of my tether on this one any more info needed let me know, i feel like ive just ranted on this one. We need to sort it out before next tuesday :-)

The voicemail by default is scheduled to do a maintanence shutdown and restart every tuesday at 2:30am , don't know if this could be part of the problem or not , you might change the time it is scheduled for and see if the problem follows

Not long finished a conference call with one of our Toshiba UK support he flagged up the same point regarding the maintenance shutdown. He also mentioned it could be something to do with a JOKE notification by one of the employees as one of the 1st thing the voicemail does is run through its notifications after reboot. He's also put me on the route towards the token programming, and the fact that if there is a g missing in the hangup call token g999 it could be the reason also. He's told me to try and restrict the 999 digits from those extensions aswell.
Will report back when i know more
Thanks for the reply Steve
