On one of our extensions, the busy/no answer feature is not working. Even though I set it up like all the other phones in the office, if you forward calls to this extension, it does not go to the VM box of the user, but rather the main VM message.
Any ideas. Thanks.

It is kind of hard to answer this question without knowing what Toshiba system you have. At the same time, the type of voice mail might also be handy to have for troubleshooting purposes.

What system are you working with? CTX, DK, what? Sounds like the VMID is not set correctly.

Most of these have 3 sets of call forwarding
and in your case its 656 and 657
and 603 that is in your user guide
Maybe someone will pop in with the 656/7 dial string

Yes - it is: Intercom #65691 [ext number} redial, then Intercom #65792 [ext number} redial. 603 is CFWD-NA, right? We tend to use 604, for CFWD-BNA.

These are the steps I am taking.
-I delete, and recreate the vm box. ext. 20 box 20 -at the station, I het DN# 604 850, speed dial 12, and redial. This sets CF-BN to 850, with a wait time of 12 seconds. This works on all phones but one.
Our Main VM is 700 or 701. If I transfer to ext 20, and would like it to go to VM of the specific user, it does not, but rather it goes to main VM.

If you don't have the VMID codes set for this phone, it will go to the main greeting, which it is supposed to do. Set those VMID codes I referred to in my last post, and then let us know what happens. These codes must be entered from the phone in question. Thanks!
