Hello,

We have the following

CTX 670 with AR2.22 MH227.00
Using eManager 3.10a19
Stratagy iES 32

Occasionally when the receptionist tries to transfer callers to VM she gets just ringing, normally she isn’t aware of it unless the caller calls back and tell her.

It isn’t related to just one EXT it seems to be one of the VM ports but they all work fine if I dial them direct 401 – 408 the pilot DN is 410.

I have checked the configuration on all the VM ports and can’t seem to find anything that would be causing this issue.

More notes on the VM: we did have to replace the VM about 6 mo. ago because of a bad HD this was happening prior to that. Also the VM reboots itself at least once a week in the middle of the day sometimes more. And this isn’t the scheduled reboot that I have set for 2am on Tuesday’s.

BTW: I have contacted our dealer and they can figure out what is causing this their first answer is upgrading the software which has caused us problems in the past.

Any ideas on what I can check would be appreciated.

The dealer can check the logs on the Stratagy with tech support.

I have managed to fix the problem with the VM ringing. I noticed in a Taske report that only 2 ports were getting used 401, and 402. This directed me to the hunt group config. The problem was hunt group 400 was set to circular and not ditributed.
