I have a ctx670 with ies32 voicemail. The hard drive in the ies32 died so I got it replaced via warranty. I had backups of the stratagy folders, but not the TAIS reg key so some of the custom programming that was on the system isn't there anymore. I'm wondering for starters how to get the night mode voice mail box to direct people to the company directory at 411. I just realized if I entered it manually, it would bring the directory up. Of course I'm having a lot of other small problems but I can usually figure them out. Is there somewhere I can get the token programming codes? Lots of questions, feel free to either answer them one at a time or not at all thanks in advance! Jeff

I assume you would go into chaining for that mailbox and enter 411 for 1 or whatever digit you assign it. You set the single digit menu options in the box that rings at night.
For instance, 990 is the main greeting That says, "Thank you for calling XYZ company." Then it chains immediately to 991 and plays the greeting, for example, "If you know your parties extension, please dial it now, for a dial by name directory press 1 (in chaining 1 goes to mb 411) for sales press 2 (2 goes to the hunt group for sales) for accounting press 3 (3 goes to a hunt group of 3 phones that can handle money issues, etc.)
In night mode, dialing 2 or 3 could go directly to the group mailbox so you would set a different extension for 2 and 3 in the night mailbox which could be 994 or whatever.

This makes sense to me but I am having a brain lock following the sequence. The numbers don't matter so much as it going to a valid box with the right greetings recorded correct? I don't have a 991 box and the receptionist box is 200 so right now the first chain box is transfer/200. It's a default lady recording with if you know you're parties ext.....but it doesn't do the rest. In the 200 box would I just have someone record the greeting needed? I think that is the link I'm missing but just want to make sure. They also go to night mode by pushing night 3 on their 2020. I assume the night sequence has been programmed into their phone. What do you think?

The iES32 doesn't chain to mb991, everything's done from 990. Go into the menu tab for mb990 and on whatever number you want them to press select 'directory'.

also I've tried changing the greeting on 990 and 200 and it always seems the same. I'm wondering if it's going somewhere else and I'm missing that. On the chain end for 990 it's set for transfer/200 (default was either 400 or 500 but we don't use that) so does the greeting need to be on the 200 box or the 990 box? I guess that is my major disconnect.

First of all, what makes the greeting in MB 990 say what to press, is you, or whoever records your greeting. Also, there are 2 parts of the 990 box, the greeting, ind the instructional greeting (option 6). The instructions play right after the main greeting.
Chain done, by default, is set to 0, whcih depending on how the system was programmed, may be a phantom, or could be pointing to ext 200.
