I work for a non-profit organization in Georgia and we have inherited the Strata DK 16 phone system with DKT2010-SD phones. The previous owners do not have any of the instruction manuals, passwords, or anything and no way to contact their admin. The company that originally installed the system doesn't have the manuals or passwords and suggests upgrading which we can't afford. I need to be able to do some basic programming to the system, relocate phones, change messages, allow more than one phone to ring, etc. Does anyone have a location where I can get the manuals and passwords to do the type of programming that the system admin should be able to do? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i'm in very similar situation but no vm
can i add vm to this unit with an expension cabinet plus an rstu2a . does it have to be a strtagy or vm would work.
my dk 16 has KSTU1A, KCOU1A, KRCU, RCTU4
PLUS AN EXTENSION UNIT WITH 2 KDUC AND A RSTU2

There are lots of voicemails that would work. You have a KSTU1A for the 4 statiion ports that would punch down on pairs 19, 21, 23 and 25 of the block you use to get the first 8 digital extensions out of the base cabinet.
You have the KRCU and that supplies the touch tone for the single line extensions. You have everything but the voicemail.
We usually hook up an Amanda SoHo that has been modified to run on compact flash instead of a hard drive. They are very easy to program and once connected you can dial into them and work on the voicemail at will (with the passwords of course.)
