Hi guys.
This board is therapeutic.
Updates: 1) Slot in a Strata CT processor card, initialised, tested all OK! Dunno if you guys in the West have Strata CT or not. 2) Using the CIX670, changed RCOU3 to RCOU1 initial tests, all OK!
Yes bunnie, theres is a non-AXE 10 switch in the same building. Nokia, if I'm not wrong, lesser problems compared to the AXE 10 switch. These lines can call out, but sometimes the line drops while dialling. You've got very good trouble shooting skills, bunnie.
Thanks Mr.Engineer.
Btw, the expression "panda-eyed" over here, refers to excessive eye bags from lack of sleep.

I'm a bit lost, have we established the low voltage as the cause, it is resolved or are we still dropping calls upon answer supervision and have you run lines off the other switch to test on the CIX670?
Thanks for the note on trouble shooting skills, at 19 I was in an intelligence data room determining if the Ruskies were really on the way to shoot down our spy planes or not. I'm still agast that 19 year olds would be entrusted to life and death calls. It made no sense then and still doesn't.
They sure did teach me to look at every bit of data from every direction and then go figure some more but do it in real time because they could be real fighters and our planes had no defenses. What were they thinking when they put me there, I still don't know.

O.o
Running the lines of the other switch works, but does cut off sometimes (in the process of dialling). Still can't figure out why.
Now, changing the RCOU3 to RCOU1 solved the problem. Still haven't figured out why. But the customer is happy that their system is up and running.

You might try to pass that quirk on to the Toshiba engineers so someone else does not have to go through the same process. Perhaps it is a problem with one production run or an engineering problem but either way it would be good to get it to the engineering staff in Malaysia so they could pass it on to the correct people in design engineering and they could be anywhere.
No one else should have to go through this once you figured out the solution.

Bunnie: Yes, we'll inform the Toshiba specialists abt this issue.
phonemeister: Yeah, its jumpered correctly. I also switched between 0db and -3db on the RCOU3.
If I get any updates from TOSHIBA, will post here. Thanks guys.
