:bang: :bang: :bang: At last I was able to reprogram a new compact flash (old one was corrupt) with my recently procured pc software and by some miracle I was able to figure out the password for mailbox 990 so at least I have the company greting recorded.

But I need help setting up mailbox 991, I did reset the password through system admin. If someone could email me information as to what I reset this password to it would be greatly appreciated.

If you have the software to access the Stratagy you can change the password in the mailbox programming.

Usually, you record mailbox 990 with something like this:

Thank you for calling XYZ Medical Group where your pain is our profit.

THEN in 1/20 of a second it chains to mailbox 991 and plays something like this: If you know your parties extension you may dial it now or anytime during this message. To dial by name please dial 411, for a live operator please dial 0, for voice access to the coronor's reports please dial 1, for results of your AID's test, please dial 2, for all other imaginary maladies, dial 3 and wait until we answer.

On default, mailbox passwords are the same as the mailbox followed by 997. This is normal default password information found in user guides so please do not get paranoid about revealing super secret information that is not secret.

NEVER, NEVER change the passwords when you are creating mailboxes, you MUST initialize the mailbox, then change the password to whatever you want. I found this out the hard way, you don't need to repeat my error.

And yes you can go into the 991 mailbox or any other mailbox with laptop programming or by going into the administration mailbox and selecting option 8.

I have a DK40i system with Stratagy voice mail. I am struggling with the system because I do not have the software to update needed changes. Could you please teel me where you got your software or how I can get a copy?
