I know the easy route would just be to switch the physical lines, but since im 400 miles from the location how can I switch extensions using Emanager? I have version 4.10A34. I tried deleting the PDN equipment number under Advance Configuration - Station - Assignments

But it gives me and error

CTX Error: The selected PDN(s) conflict with existing pdn assignments for the selected circuit.

thanks for your help in advance.

If you want to flip flop extensions, do this.

Lets say you want to flip flop 201 (010102) and 207 (010108)

1. Create a BDKU card in a virtual slot (say 020101) You can do this in programming even without a physical cabinet 2 installed.
2. go to station Assignments for ext 201 and change the equipment number from 010102 to 020101. This moves 201 to the new card.
3. change the equipment number on ext 207 from 010108 to 010102. This moves 207 to where 201 was.
4. change the equipment number on ext 201 from 020101 to 010108. This moves ext 201 to where 207 was.
5. Don't forget to delete the BDKU card from slot 0201.

Now 201 and 207 have switched ports. And all station parameters remain intact. If you delete the stations first, then you have to create and re-program them.

Its pretty easy to do remotely. I learned to do that on a Telrad switch. You can move around a whole bunch of stations as long as they complete a circle.

Good Luck

Dan
