Is there a way to park to an extension using the park button then the dss console. When I try this it says something like call orbit busy. It works fine if i hit park then then dial the extension manualy.

What software level is in the CTX. I think that feature started after R2.22. I use it all the time. Customers love it!

While on the call press the Park/PickUp button then the DSS key. This parks the call on that extension. The Partk key light and all they have to do is push it and get the call. Or they can go to any phone, press Park and their extension number.

It sounds like you are using the park orbit feature whereby the system would assign the park orbit (7000-7019). When a ssigning the park button to the keys, you may need to use one that isn't for park orbit? Just an idea.

How would i go about programming a non-call park orbit button. The only way i can think is to program a one touch, then program the one touch to be a different kind of park.

But with the park orbit button i still have the option to type in the station number manually. I just want them to have the option to be able to park via orbit or by using the dss console using the same button.
