I'm hoping that someone has the information I need. I am trying to get e-manager 4.12 to run on windows XP under Parallels on my Mac notebook. My CTX is configured correctly and I can connect from my sony notebook without any problem. In order for me to try to solve this network issue I need to know what ports e-manager communicates with the CTX on.
I'm sure that most people are going to be scratching their heads but I have my reasons for doing this.
Thanks in advance.

This might work, I'm not sure. On the Sony laptop after you connect up to your phone system and everything is good, open a command prompt and type netstat. This will show you all the connections your machine is using. Hopefully you can sift through the connections and throw out the web browsing ones etc. If it uses any other ports besides port 80, hopefully it will show up.

As far as I know, it only works on Windows and Internet Explorer.
eManager uses ports 160 & 161 (SNMP) to program with and port 21 (FTP) to copy to/from the smart card.

After analyzing this further I have discovered that in addition to ports 160 and 161 there is some traffic on port 137. I suspect that the snmp traffic is being trapped somewhere in between the nic and the operating system. As far as e-manager, the software actually requires 4 components: Windows, Internet explorer 6, Internet Information Server (IIS) and last the network monitoring components of windows. I suspect that this is to provide the SNMP tools required for the communications. Overall the software works but is too complex. It could have been made much more portable by making it a self contained executable.
