I'm hoping someone has figured this out. But when I try to setup #604 it doesn't work. I have a DK280 IPV8 and Release 3 (I believe). I can setup 601/602 but 603/604 want more information. I already read the other post, which state:

Intercom #604 (VM Ext) SPDL (Seconds) Redial Spkr. I've tried this but the system does not work (Data Programmed never comes up). It's like I'm missing something, but I dont know what it is. If I go thru the normal process when I'm done putting VM Extension say 216 (PDN) If I press Speedial it does not have a confirmation tone or anything. Nothing works. Any help is appreciated.

Are you sure there is a speed dial key on the
set ?
Look @ the set by port in prog 39 that button should be code 497.

When you do do ICM / #603 / vmext / speed dial key {a * should come up in display ] //seconds /
rdial / spkr.

clear 601-2-3-4 b4 you do this .

I just went thru this myself.

As kenb stated, pressing spd dl is meant to place a * in the sequence. Depending on programming/phone, you may can just press the * key.

If you don't see the * on the display, do as said above. (ex. display "#604 ID CODE SET 216*14").

Thanks for your input, I will try this, one way I got around it though, is to use Program 39 and Program a 457 on some key, then I went to a Phone and pressed the key that was programmed, it asked where to forward, then I simply entered the VM Ext. It worked, but I believe that shouldn't be the process.

Thank you kenb/jeebuzzin.
