Can any one tell me the pin out for the NDTU- I bought a DB15 to RJ45 to test a Direct Connect, not sure if i have a CSU problem or cable problem.

Thanks :bang:

This is from the T1 chapter of the Strata DK I&M dated 5/99 (Page 6-15). I havent actually worked with T1 connections, so I cannot verify the correctness, but hope this helps.

Note that this deals with an NDTU cable on a RDTU interface card. Also I have used the generic "8p8c" to refer to the plug you called a "RJ45".

RDTU transmits to CSU on Pair 1 of the amphenol, pin 26 (Tip) connects to DB-15 pin 1 and pin 1 (ring) connects to DB-15 pin 9. CSU then transmits to Network - DB-15 pin 1 (tip) connects to pin 4 of 8p8c connector and DB-15 pin 9 (ring) connects to pin 5 of 8p8c connector.

Likewise the receive path is amphenol pin 27 (tip) to DB-15 pin 3, and amphenol pin 2 (ring) to DB-15 pin 11. Then from the CSU - DB-15 pin 3 (tip) connects to pin 1 of the 8p8c and DB-15 pin 11 (ring) connects to pin 2 of 8p8c.
