Strata 670:
I have a DID that points to a multiple call group (our poor man ACD). When somebody dials the DID, it rings all phones, first come first serve.. If nobody picks up, it drops it to our general voice mail box.
On the weekend nobody is in the office, i want that multiple call group , or the DID, to fwd the call to an outside line..
I would like to have a button on our operator phone so that when pressed, anything that rings to that multiple call group , will be fwd'd to an outside line when the button is pressed.
When its pressed again, it acts as normal.
so FWD anything that is sent to that multiple call group, not just anything thats sent to an extension.

Program a PhDN on the operators phone, CF-EXT to the outside number. Then Point the DID to the MCG in day mode and the PhDN in night mode.

instead of having a designated day/night , i'd rather have it manual so as i am leaving i press a "night key" type button for this did/mcg.

Try and program a phantom 500 on all the phones you want to ring in the group. have the did dial the phantom day1,2,night. Then program a 2nd button as a one touch in the one touch put 500#60139(external number)
then another button 500#6051 to disable the call fw.
The Advance Noobie!

Only the owner of a phantom can set call forward from their phone. You can remotely set a cf for a phantom from any phone using #6012 (tone) + dial the other telephone’s ext. no. + enter other telephone’s CF pass code + # + 9 + dest. telephone no. + # (tone).
Unless a pass code was set, just hitting # works.
I was told that you can use that code to remotely set the pilot for a Multiple Call Group, but I have not tried it yet.
Use + #6052 (tone) + dial the other telephone’s ext. no. + enter other telephone’s CF pass code + # (tone) to turn off.
You can use a one-touch key to turn on and another to turn off.

You might consider using the night key as Voyager suggested because it gives you a visual indicator.

You don't need to forward a phantom in the night mode. Just set dialing digits as 9 plus phone number.
