toshibites Anyone have a dk424 line/station privacy function intermittantly go non private? I'm having a customer claim people are able to pickup a line and have another extension already on that line. The telco is pretty shaky so i'm blaming it on them. However i can't recreate the condition. m

how do the lines appear are they line, pooled or do they just dial nine. If it is the telco you'll get cross talk from another co line if what you have coming into the switch is copper. It could many things need more info

Did you rule out automatic OCA? People sometimes mistake that for crossed lines.

Is ACD in play on this system? check the programming at station level. Is the Toshiba on a PBX? Possibly the party line is on the other end. Also look at the Barge in feature per station......poor man's Silent monitor.

Thanks for the reply guys
The co's are on buttons on one phone and pooled on the other. Copper on the interface and not behind a PBX. No ACD. I will check OCA and Barge-In though. I still think it's the CO m
