I'm having some issues with the way the caller ID information displays on some telephone systems.

When a Local call comes in it will show
XXXYYYZZZZ.

When someone calls in long distance it will show:
1XXXYYYZZZ.

So it shows the 1, and it drops the last digit of the number...

Anyone know what to do with this? is there a way to set it to 11 digits instead of 10? or drop the 1?

Thanks..

There is a setting in System / System Data / FB23 call history prefix, you can tell it to add 1 or not to add. Not sure if this will solve your problem or not. This may jusy be for viewing the caller ID per the CLID button.

That's already off... It seems that the line provider is sending the 1 down with the caller ID information.

WHat kind of voicemail are you usign? Toshiba has brought out a digit modification table to use with LVMU/GVMU/IVP8 voicemails. Unfortunately, I don't think this is applicable to the IES voicemails.

I think Teledude is aware that it's a telco issue as they should be sending 10 digits instead of 11.

This is a Telco issue, the toshiba product displays what it receives, have telco only send you the area code/prefix/suffix + text.
