The time is 3 hrs off?? If so, it could be that the VM server time is set for Pacific Time instead of yoru correct time zone. The VM server time is changed using Netmeeting to callinto the VM server.

After the IES32 patch was applied, to ensure DST changes "took" they should have logged back in via NetMeeting and double clicked on system time (lower right hand of task bar).... then select time zone tab..... then uncheck/check "automatically adjust clock for DST changes"... then click apply.

Then they should have changed time to correct time if it was off. Easy for you to fix time via box 999 though.

If I could figure out the Netmeeting login I could apply a different patch or at least verify that the clock is correct on the system. Unfortunately I don't know the username or password.

Let take a look here, TZEDIT was applied by who?

Have you had your vendor come to your site as of yet? And if so did you or anyone verify that your time issue was corrected?
You need to have your issue escalated to your vendors service manager and if you get no resolve from them then proceed to contact Tosihba directly.

What your attempting to do is not for non-certified technicians or IT personnel until properly trained by a certified authority. :nono:

Training that you are looking for is available directly from Toshiba if not from your local vendor.
If you have any questions I will be glad to answer them to the best of my ability but do suggest you contact again your local vendor.

TZEDIT was applied on the voicemail computer running XP by myself anf the time and time zone settigns are correct on this computer.

The problem is the time coming from the embedded NT time settings which TZEDIT will not fix...this is embedded NT which MS no longer supports. There are plenty of third party utils and scripts to edit the registry on unsupported MS OS's.

Training is not the issue. Paying or something that Toshiba should be fixing for free is the issue. This is a Toshiba issue whether they will admit it or not.

We have upgraded many iES16/32's with the FREE Toshiba upgrade and it has been successful on all with no other problems! All have been done under an hour.

I would agree with Toshiba Bob
"You need to have your issue escalated to your vendors service manager and if you get no resolve from them then proceed to contact Toshiba directly."

TZEDIT works on all windows versions. It allows you to manually change the date on which the DST changes. Older windows version are not supported by MS, as mentioned. Updates for XP are automatically download. TZEDIT is not the update for windows XP. It has to be downloaded from MS directly.

Toshiba has an update for Stratagy ES and IES. This is easy to apply but requires you to reboot. I use TZEDIT when a reboot is not possible. Otherwise, I use the patch from Toshiba.

Also, make sure that you look at the Auto schedule after you apply the patch. They do get messed up sometimes.

I think you mean Paying for . I am sure Toshiba looked into their crystal ball when they were developing the IES and ES and knew that the morons in congress were going to change DST. Is the voicemail still under factory warranty? If not do yourself a favor and call in a Toshiba Dealer and get your problem fixed and pay the fee.
