Is it possible to external call forward a phantom on a DK280? The phantom currently rings about 5 phones.
There seems to be conflicting info online about the DK280 CF-EXT ability.
I haven't had a chance yet to try #601 but I also read something about using #670 to CF-EXT an extension.

Hello and Welcome to the board. If you would please completely fill out your profile it will allow us to better assist you. Thanks and ..... No conflict it has to be a line, ONLY ring at a telephone that you want to CF EXT using Spd 29, i believe. Now thats off the top of my head, what is it your trying to accomplish? And as alway if I'm incorrect we have a great bunch of people here who will set us correct.

"what is it your trying to accomplish?" I have a voicemail prompt that dials a phantom which rings about 5 phones and the customer wants calls for this phantom to forward to a cell phone at night.
My button programming is weak for the DK's... I don't know what is meant by using speed dial 29.

Is the VM capable of supervise transfer the call to the Phantom and after X rings pulling it back and transfering to a cellphone then? This is what I'd look at instead!

Good idea Bob. Their Stratagy VM might be able to make it happen though I will have to research exactly how.
I think that this would then be thru the Ring No Answer chain that could be used to transfer the call to another extension after RNA...?
I don't have a Stratagy in front of me right now & I can't picture a RNA field. I'll investigate on my next VM.

Stratagy IVP8? Just put extension of mailbox in RNA in groups and chains. I would think it would work. I use RNA chain all the time for CF-NA chains, or using pilots.

Unless you are on release 3 or higher, it's not going to work the way you want it because the Stratagy can't drop out of the trunk-to-trunk transfer.

Good point, Bob. A Centrex transfer is the way to go instead of a trunk-to-trunk transfer.
