I am considering installing wireless Polycom conference phones in an office. I have used the wired units but have no experience with the wireless units. How is the sound quality of the SS2W compared to the wired solution? How far can the base antenna be installed away from the unit in a typical office suite?
Any help appreciated - Shawn.

We have sold several with no problems except for one we had to return because after about 8 months the battery wouldn't charge fully. Sound quality is as good. We use one in our office and the base is about 80' feet away with no problem.

Ditto what installer3 said. Got several out there and working great. Sound quality and range are both good. We have one that I can think of that the base is at least 150' from the phone. They did have a recall on some of their units about 3 or 4 years ago due to battery problems. But we never did see any of those.
